Here’s a fun little Google Easter egg for you. Head over to Google Maps, then get some directions. Start from The Shire, then put the destination as Mordor. Make sure that you select Walking directions.

I am in complete awe of the Art Project by Google. It’s basically a cross over between Google Maps and classic paintings. You can zoom right in to see every single brush stroke, every blob… it’s wonderous! A highlight has to be Starry Night by Van Gogh. Check them out!
This is an amazing project by Jon Rafman, who hunts through Google Street View to find pictures of artistic worth. His Tumblr blog is a homage to moments secretly caught on camera, and is a blog everyone should follow. Truly inspiring!
