Pop Culture Ice Creams
Wouldn’t it be amazing if these were real? Seriously, Ben & Jerry’s need to get on this!
Pop Culture Ice Creams is a very funny project created by Jon Defreest: fake Ben & Jerry’s product designs based on pop culture characters. The Ron Swanson ice cream received so much attention that Ben & Jerry’s was forced to release an official statement informing the public that this was not a legitimate flavor.

Game of Thrones Season 2 in Production
Words can’t describe how excited I am for this next season! I’ve just started A Feast for Crows which is 3 books on, so I can’t wait to to see how the characters are developed and brought to life in the next series. They did such an awesome job with A Game of Thrones, that I have no doubt A Clash of Kings will be just as good! They nailed the characters perfectly, which is so rare in book —> movie / TV show conversions.
Fairytales on TV this Autumn
I always love a good fairytale, and it just so happens that both NBC and ABC are releasing their take on classic tales on TV this Autumn, which makes me very excited! I feel that decent fairytale TV shows are far and few between, and often really aren’t very good (except The 10th Kingdom. That was awesome!) So I have unrealistically high expectations of both Grimm, where a:

Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovers he’s a descendant of a long line of Grimms — for the show’s purposes, not story-tellers but criminal profilers — whose job has always been to hunt down the fairy-tale monsters who secretly live in our world.

and Once Upon a Time where:
Jennifer Morrison (House) stars as Emma Swan, a bail bondswoman whose life changes when the son she gave up for adoption 10 years before shows up on her doorstep. Henry (Jared Gilmore) tells the disbelieving Emma that she’s the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas). In flashbacks, viewers learn that all our beloved fairy-tale characters are under the spell of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), who has catapulted them out of fairy-tale land and into modern times. They now live in Storybrooke, Maine, with no memory of who they really are. It’s up to Emma, Henry tells her, to break the spell.
which both transport classic tales into the modern day. If they aren’t as good as Fables, the comic series, then I’m going to be very disappointed! Don’t let me down you two!

Arrested Development is coming back!
I know we’ve all been hurt before by this rumour, but just yesterday the show’s creator officially confirmed that there will in fact be a mini-series before the movie is released next year! All the cast is completely on-board and will move around their schedules to accommodate the show’s ‘return’.
I really can’t say how happy this makes me! I know it’s not a full return to TV, but it didn’t feel right how the series ended, so I’m so glad the original cast and crew are so passionate about coming back the project!
I can’t wait!
