It’s that time of year again. That time when I get fed up of my site design, tear it down, and rebuild it. And this is what I did yesterday evening. Despite the chronic headache I’ve had for about 3 days, I decided that last night would be a good time to redesign my blog. Why, you ask? Well, you know when you’re randomly in the mood to go and get ice-cream even though it’s zero degrees outside? Well for me, I get the feeling to redesign and code when I have bad headaches. Logical? Oh my no!

So in less that 24 hours, I redesigned and coded my new blog. I stripped it right back, took a lot of the textures out and tried to keep things simple. Most of my personal site designs have been heavy on colours and textures, so I wanted to try something a little different this time, something clean and simple, but still reflected me.

Now, I know there may be a few bugs, I still have a few things to tweak and I haven’t finished the “portfolio” section yet, so bear with me, but I’m pretty happy with it, considering this time yesterday I hadn’t even considered changing it. 

All I need to do now is make it responsive… but I think that’s a task for later. I’m going to take a well deserved rest now, and finish my book.
