Oh Hai, Mark!

I was just writing an email to my colleague, Mark, and I broke into hysterical laughter as I wrote “Oh hai, Mark”.

Now, for those of you who don’t know, “oh hai, Mark” is a line from The Room one of the most, let’s say “interesting” movies of last year. Okay, it’s just plain bad, but that kind of bad where it’s actually pretty hilarious. Well, during the movie “oh hai” gets said quite a lot… particularly to Mark. Anyway, reminiscing about this while writing a work email made my morning.

Why is it, that when I get an email or Facebook message I don’t just reply to it straight away? Why do I create a new entry on my to-do list to reply to said email at a later date? How does that make any sense?
