Big Bang Theory cast reimagined as the Firefly crew
This is the best thing I’ve seen all day!

I know I shouldn’t have, but I totally did. Yes, I signed up for the World of Warcraft annual pass.
I am particularly excited about this, because not only do I get that cool flying mount for my character, but I get BETA entry to the new expansion and a free copy of Diablo III when it’s released! #geekwin
This is something that I need to have in my life. Finally, The Fellowship can sit with me while I work at my desk and guide me on my way.

Here’s a fun little Google Easter egg for you. Head over to Google Maps, then get some directions. Start from The Shire, then put the destination as Mordor. Make sure that you select Walking directions.
Can you tell I’m all about Tolkien this morning?

To celebrate Thanksgiving, here in the UK I have mostly spent the evening completing all of the Pilgrim’s Bounty (Azeroth’s equivalent holiday to Thanksgiving) achievements in World of Warcraft. You know, because I’m super cool!

Here is a picture of my character enjoying a big ol’ Pilgrim’s Bounty dinner. Enjoy!
Happy Thanksgiving for tomorrow y’all!

Oops! Look what I did! I couldn’t help myself! It’s been so long (4 months since I cancelled my account to be precise)… and I may or may not have been suffering severe withdrawal symptoms of late…
Time to get back in the game! Oh how I’ve missed it so!
I am pretty excited about this new web series by Felicia Day! I’m a huge fan of The Guild, which has grown so much over the past few years. The show started in the late summer of 2007, and for the first season was financed solely by Paypal donations from loyal fans. Since season 2, The Guild has been distributed by Xbox Live and Microsoft and sponsored by Sprint. It’s amazing how something so small, turned out to be so big, so I couldn’t be more excited to see what Miss Day can do next.
Also, Felicia Day pretty much has my dream job. She gets paid to be a geek. Soooooooo lucky! (^_^)
Normally you can spot a fake UFO film / picture miles away… but even if you don’t believe in aliens, this is a little strange. I almost had goosebumps at the end. Wouldn’t it be cool if it actually was aliens? #geekwish #oncecanhope
To indulge my geeky tendencies, today I dedicate my ‘Infographic of the Day’ to this little beaut - a planetary map of the Star Wars universe! Now, this was actually released in 2009 in ‘Star Wars: The Essential Atlas’ but it appears to be doing the rounds online today. Enjoy!
