Oh Hai, Mark!

I was just writing an email to my colleague, Mark, and I broke into hysterical laughter as I wrote “Oh hai, Mark”.

Now, for those of you who don’t know, “oh hai, Mark” is a line from The Room one of the most, let’s say “interesting” movies of last year. Okay, it’s just plain bad, but that kind of bad where it’s actually pretty hilarious. Well, during the movie “oh hai” gets said quite a lot… particularly to Mark. Anyway, reminiscing about this while writing a work email made my morning.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Trailer

Words cannot describe how utterly excited I am for this movie! I almost welled up near the end of the trailer. It’s been 10 years since Lord of the Rings! 10 years!

Thanks Peter Jackson for releasing an awesome trailer! I was genuinely concerned that the teaser trailer wouldn’t show any film footage, but he pulled it out of the bag! Me = Very happy! 

Jack the Giant Killer Trailer

I’m enjoying the trend of re-imagining classic fairytale stories, I really am! This looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Disney and Pixar’s Brave

It may be that it’s set in Scotland, or it may be that the animation looks stunning, but boy do I want to see this! Very, very excited!

This looks like it’s going to be so much fun. One quick question, who straightened Thor’s hair? 

The Hobbit: Peter Jackson’s 3rd Video Blog from the Set

Words cannot describe how excited I am for this movie. Srsly! There were a few moments back there, when I thought it would never get made, that my need for all things Tolkien would never be satiated. So, you can imagine my glee when Peter Jackson started releasing video blogs documenting the filming process.

This is a particularly special video in that it probably raises a few more questions, than revealing any clues, but it’s made me even more (if possible) excited for December 2012. Check it!

“Super” Trailer

Oh man, I’ve just seen the trailer to this movie and boy am I psyched! I absolutely love Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page and I bet their chemistry on screen is something else.

I’m so glad my trip to the US next month coincides with its release date, as it will likely be several months before it makes it across the pond to the UK.
